Usually an auto parts store has free battery and alternator testing.
Give them a try.
Bring BOTH the battery and alternator if you have the means to get there. Or test the battery first since it's WAY easier to take out of the SAAB.
Maybe the last alternator killed your battery. When the christmas lights show up on the instrument panel it usually points to a bad battery.
