When our 2003 Aero sedan needed a new alternator at 113,000 miles, I went back to the long belt and changed out the tensioner, center idler and upper idler pulleys since I was in there and coming up on 120K. It doesn't make any rattle noise. When I searched here the consensus seemed to be to change out the tensioner at 120K. It's not a ridiculously expensive part.
