Two weeks ago I got a CEL and 1312 code (misfire on 1 or 2 cylinder) while on a road trip. I erased the code and the car has been fine up until yesterday. My wife ran the car out of fuel. No CEL, but code 1334 (misfire on cylinder 4, low fuel). I checked the plugs, and 1 & 4 look whiter than 2 & 3.
So, new plugs and/or new DTC? Anyone try the Carquest/Wells DTC?
I'm inclined to try the plugs first - which ones? The manual says NGK PFR 6H. Discussion here suggests PFR 7H or 7ES???
