My dad's '01 9-3SE (with B235R) and my ex-stepfather's (wrap your head around that one...) '02 9-5 linear both make/made a single slight *knock* at the exact moment of first combustion. If your engine mounts are all in one piece, have you considered that maybe you're just noticing it for the first time? I've heard many other T7 cars do it as well. I'm not sure exactly why they do it though.
Something like "crankcrankcrankcrank*clack*" and then it's running.
