all idiot lights -- neutral position switch?

My son in law's 2004 95 ARC automatic just had all the idiot lights come on. I got my code reader and no codes. Won't go into gear now without depressing the neutral position switch. But seems to drive fine in all gears but am afraid to really test car with all idiot lights on (TCS, ABS, Transimssion warning triangle and others). No problems starting the car.

Car was at the indy shop a couple of months ago and battery needed a charge. Autozone battery was checked by autozone dealer who said battery was fine.

With no codes I am really puzzled. Would neutral position switch throw a code? Would a linkage problem be solved by depressing the switch?

Any ideas would be appreciated.
