Purchased a 04 9-5 Aero last fall and never really got to test out the A/C until recently.
A few weeks ago here in CT we had 3 days of around 100 with brutal humidity. I was amazed out how good the A/C worked. The heat and humidty is back (98 today) and decided to measure vent temperature with a digital thermometer. After work I started up and idled with a/c set to low and recirc to cool off the car. After a few minutes I had 45 degree vents temps and it dropped down to about 40 when I got on the highway. I was really impressed.
I have all service records and the a/c system has never been touched with 130K on the car. I also noticed there are 2 drains on the 9-5 one below each seat? The amount of water pouring out of them today was crazy.
