My 9-5 sees 40+ mpg at 60 mph straight cruise for 50 mile mostly highway commute. And it's stage lll tune which makes it about 30% more efficient than the 335i and much more efficient than the others you list.

If you haven't drive one, you need to drive a 9-5.
