as Milo says: may be throttle body control module getting ready to fail.
as far as vacuum leaks: check to make sure the PCV check valve is working and that the PCV system itself is completely sealing.
Did you indy mechanic smoke/leak check the intake system? Just to be sure ask if they have a smoke machine and to smoke check both in front of and behind the throttle body for air leaks.
Is the ECM flagging any fault codes? or just random idle fluctuations with no explanation?
