V6 shuts off when driving????

Driving down the road about 70 miles an hour car shut off kind of like a little skip all the lights came on in the car and then started right up and was fine? The car also shut off while sitting at a stoplight this happened one any help would be appreciated. The car is 2001 wagon with a a v 6 with 150,000. Miles
