Amazing ESP Technology

I don't have another vehicle issue this time. Just praising the SAAB/Bosch ESP Technology. For a car that's more or less 14 years old (2002), the ESP system still works and is superb - ahead of its time. So we've got cold weather here but most of the main highways are fine. So I'm driving through a sweeping curve, going well under the speed limit and found it to be black ice. It was an "Oh **it" moment. Made a quick decision to steer through without even considering touching the brake pedal. Will I slide into the curb, spin out? So I hear cool things happening with the anti-lock brakes. The orange ESP indicator is flashing. The car starts to swing it's tail a bit and then straightens out magically. I drove through the ice covered curve perfectly. I had earlier removed my Spider Spikes, due to the clear roads, so was just using 70% tread Michelin A/S tires. I am really impressed with the system. I've had ESP kick in many times before over the years, but today, the black ice appeared and I was left with few options. Leave the driving to ESP.
