Reminds me now of an oddball recently. I did have a V6 where the canal from engine to oil pressure sender was plugged.
That car though had been abused early in its life with 20-30 K between oil changes and a couple of failed turbo chargers.
I replaced the oil pressure sensor when doing an alternator job and noticed a wall of dirt behind it and had to snake it out and then start the engine quickly to blow out the rest.
