The window should swap fine as far as I know. I have replaced green rollers on my '99 and done the same for my daughter's '06. In the second case there was a loose 'dropped' lower weather strip, so I took the window out to fix that AND to replace the wrecked upper weather strip.
Window removal and replacement is fussy, but not really hard. Perfect opportunity for new green rollers too! Helps if you have a helper (I did not). If you are considering doing it, then you probably have the skill and correct mind set.
