comes with conventional oil. That said, today's oil standards can't be met with truly "conventional" (i.e., Group I base oil) oil. They are either a blend of Group I and Group III base oils (i.e., synthetic blend) or Group II base oils (Group I, or conventional, oil which has been hydroisomerized, but not enough to qualify it as "Group III", or synthetic (per FTC standards).
Were it mine, I would switch to a regimen of Mobil 1 high mileage, 4000 mile change interval, and revisit the oil pan after a couple or three oil changes. The sludge isn't terrible, but it's also not nothing. Your concern isn't so much the damage done directly by the sludge but rather the damage to be done if the sludge that's there migrates from where it is to the pickup screen, blocking flow.
Some people "poke holes" in the screen, some people scrounge up a 9000 era pickup "screen" (a plate with holes punched, rather than a screen), some people replace the screen with a screen that has a coarser mesh, and some people inspect and clean. The last used to be a lot easier when Bob Bright was alive and selling his trick oil pan, one with an inspection port directly below the pickup.
