The ride height needs to be 610mm from the bottom on the aluminum wheel to the bottom of the wheel well opening for an Aero with 17" wheels.
New springs are more expensive and will sag again.
There are lots of posts here on this problem and fixing it. Not only do you get camber increases as you noted, but worse is the toe-in of the wheels which will cause tire wear that will ruing otherwise good tires. Toe in means the tires are pointing in ans trying to sort of go sideways.
Spacers are the best. You can get the for stock, Bilstein and Koni shocks in 25, 32, and 38mm heights. Measure you ride height. they are sold on eBay of $39.95 with full instructions and alignment tables.
