2000 9-5 2.3L
Will the sender for an electric oil pressure gauge + metric adapter fit where the stock sensor is? I looked in three of the local auto parts but no one even had one to look at. And those on the forum favor the sandwich type. I guess that should tell me something but it looks like it just might fit. One website says theirs is 3" long but that (maybe) including the male threads that go into the adapter and might include the wire connectors on the other end so may only be 2 1/2" or so. With adapter could be back to 3".
I suppose I could use a 90 degree elbow and a short length of pipe to raise it above the level of the starter, but the less connections the better.
