So, today after work I decided to check the voltage. And here is what I've got: 12.67V in static, 14.0V at idle, and while I was driving it gradually dropped to 13.6 and stayed there.
5 minutes after I decided to turn on AC strange things started happening: ACC panel is flickering, cabin fan was trying to stop(almost) - I could hear it slowing down and speeding up while the voltage was fluctuating 13.00V-13.47V! Something was drawing almost 0.5 Volts and it seemed like AC was trying to stall.
To add to my previous post:
-positive battery cable was terrible but replacing it did not help;
-battery was tested by one of those meters which detect its capacity and can recognize a dead cell(I think it's called conductive test? not sure);
-since there are no anomalies with the battery voltage while driving (until I turn on AC) I think it's fair to say the charging system is OK
-turning AC on only speeds the things up but even without turning it on the problem occurs while driving for awhile in hot weather;
-and if I turn the car off and restart it, the problem goes away.
Last time I restarted the car I noticed the light weren't flickering and the radiator fans came on almost right the way. Today I don't think I heard them but I am not sure. The car does not overheat.
I will check all relays/fuses especially the ones for radiator fans. I really need to find out what's going on.
