Well sure! LESS unsprung weight is always better, isn't it? I suspect some Saab guys are just grateful to get parts that work and don't break .I'd pay more for a better, lighter part but there's a lot of guys that won't/don't care! ( i notice there are some bicycle guys on the site they sure appreciate lighter weight!) the stock Saab wheels are heavy (as are most wheels and even aftermarket ones .) you can get MUCH lighter wheels which as ya' say would make a LOT more difference! I was wishing my GS rear anti-sway bar was hollow instead of solid! (but it's OK I can be a bit fanatical -I used to build, race M/C's, cars I'm happy enough to get really great speed parts for a Saab at a reasonable cost!) I do really appreciate less weight! EG we lightened a BMW flywheel to geometric swiss cheese w/ an indexing head on a Bridgeport mill(NO cnc !) and the improvement was dramatic! PS I think it'd be pretty easy to have some sway bar links made w/ large diameter, thin wall chrome moly tubing or heck why not titanium ! ? the bicycle guys can weld and do machining on exotic materials how about it? it's a Simple part! Who do we know w/ a CNC ? what do we need 10 min. order ? I'm in Hmmmmmmm . LOL
