Three keys issue

2008 9-5 Aero 5 speed, 82,000 miles.
Took it into Arroway Chevy/Cadillac in Mt. Kisko NY for the air bag recall. While I was there I gave them the three keys I received in 2013 when I bought the car off of a GMC dealer and asked them to reprogram them so they all worked as intended.
Key One opens the doors, starts the car.
Key Two won't open the doors, but starts the car.
Key Three never opened the doors or could start the car, displayed a "See dealer tech" message.
After reprogramming, Key One opens the doors and starts the car, keys Two and three will not open the doors remotely, but will start the car. The tech said "it's something in the car's software the won't accept the keys completely."
I can live with this, but I throw this out to the greatest body of SAAB knowledge anywhere, any ideas why the tech couldn't make the key's remote feature work?
For the record, the dealer customer service was 100%, the reprogramming was only $53, and the fit, finish, and interiors of those GM products look like they have come a long way. I don't follow new cars, but they have definitely progressed from what I used to know.
Thanks in advance.
