With out shims my car has major excessive camber regardless of its ride hight. I know Saab suggests no more than 3 shims pr wheel and the suspension in the aero is made to have some camber. But it's as simple as me not wanting any inner edge wear. I don't use the car on a race track. With 7 shims installed in each wheel I did a alignment and the camber is at - .07 the toe is good. The car has after market rims that are 8.5 inches wide they are a half an inch wider than oem wheels meaning if the car bounces real hard the body will come down and hit the tire. The front struts do an excellent job from keeping the front wheels from hitting. The rear shocks can not keep the body from hitting the tires if the car has more than a half a tank of fuel so rubber bushings are installed in the spring of the shock to give the rear max ride hight and stiffen up the rear end. With the bushings installed and a full tank of gas the rear stays off the tires. So yeah 7 shims pr and I'm good. I hear there's different thickness of shims that were made which a person can buy the .006 shim or the .003 I could only find the .003 if I found the 6 it would be 3 pr wheel
