Hello, to all.
Its been a while, but I still own my 2008 9-5 2.3 T sedan with only 57,00 miles. (mostly nyc city driving)
Have been spending a lot of money on this car in the last year. I am taking it to the same mechanic who has worked on my car many years in different dealerships since Saab stopped existing.
January 5, 2008 had coolant leak repaired ( outer right engine block cap seal) and temp gauge fixed ax54 sensor and coolant changed.273.76 plus 337
Went back on 1/15/2018 prior to vermont trip for final check when My heat wasn't working, Recalibration performed.
returned 1/23/2018 becAuse check engine light on and temp gauge dropped to zero ( this has been and itermittent problem. ) he found ECT sensor fault which he replaced and reset the ECM. another 200 dollars
Still doesn't always reach the 9 o'clock position.
I find when I jiggle the connections it works for a while. What gives? I read what you all said about cleaning and not replacing.
I think something similar happened with one of my new front tires going flat and when I was in Vermont the mechanic there cleaned and replaced o ring and gasket on tire pressure monitor, I problem not found when new flat tire tested in new york.
