1st thing is do is hook up the red pressure line and read the gauge. The fan kicks on at around 290psi and turns off at around 230psi. If your at 900 psi it would stop the compressor from working and if it's just sitting doing nothing could be a bad charge or a shot compressor. Charging the a/c the compressor clutch must be running the entire time your adding freon. You can force compressor clutch engagement for the duration your adding freon by using a single wire and jump the fuse box pins. Lastly if it's a reman compressor it's probably shot right out of the box. Reman compressors don't last long at all my last reman lasted a month and was 100$. Buy brand new when messing with the compressor, and always swap the dryer when swapping compressors. Not fun getting under there and doing it twice.
