I recently did my vacuum lines and had to separate the two wiring loom junctions on the bulkhead to do it. I sprayed CRC electrical contact cleaned in both as they were very dirty with a fine dust even though they were under a cover. Perhaps the humidity gets into the dirt and dust and causes a short until dry?
