Ah the tinworm, scourge of we rust belt dwellers. Recently I was at a Porsche 944 event and met someone with VERY nice '87 944 Turbo from Toronto. The car had NO rust. I asked the owner how many months a year he drove it. He said TWELVE and that he drives 44 km round trip to work daily! Next question - HOW did he keep the tinworm at bay. He said the solution is a product called Corrosion FREE.
It appears to be a 21st century adaptation of a material that does what Zeibart is supposed to do. Corrosion FREE doesn't appear to drip and behaves like a tough wax. It's made in Canada as one might expect. There's a place near me that applies it so I'll give it a go this winter.
