Early this morning, the alarm went off on the car a couple times,then stopped by itself. It was something like 5 degrees overnight, figured a glitch due to extreme cold. But 4 hours later, battery completely dead.

So, got out the lithium battery box, took 6 tries, but started right up.
While hooking up the lithium battery, noticed a fair amount of corrosion on negative terminal. My plan is to go over to Interstate and get another battery, use lithium unit to keep vehicle settings intact, then swap in new battery.

Best way to remove corrosion, apply some kind of anti-seize stuff to battery connectors? I recall years ago there was some kind of reddish grease and a felt washer you would impregnate with the grease, etc. Is that stuff just dielectric grease?
