I see what you mean. I've never called RA but they have a pretty good reputation and I bet they would be helpful on the phone.
FWIW it's pretty trivial to press in that front bushing, I wouldn't let that be the deciding factor. I used a little Tide to lubricate and a threaded rod to apply pressure. It popped right into place.
