My first suggestion would be to test rive a 2002 Aero. If you think that the suspension feel is satisfactory, investigate upgrading your car to the newer components.

What is the problem? Is the car's handling not what you feel it should be? Is there an actual handling issue, or is it perceived handling? A suspension does not need to be rock hard to habdle well.
