Spare key

I only received 1 key with my 9-7x. I have found a replacement key that is not OEM and doesn't have the remote lock/unlock but does have the transponder. It would have to be cut and programmed but just wondering if anyone has experience with this kind of key.

I did confirm that the dealer can cut and program a key for me and this would save me over $100 if it works.
