Has anyone had the issue that plagues the 9-7's sister products. I saw on another forum an issue with pin holes in the transfer case caused by the pump in the transfer case. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=48648&st=60 highlight the issue of the pump rubbing on the body of the transfer which creates a hole. As I approach 90k I feel that maybe I should pull the transfer case and complete the alleged fix. There is a Truck-U video on you tube about the issue. My limited understanding is that the 9-7s have the NP4 or NP8 transfer case. Has anyone encountered this issue with the SAABs or are the 9-7s immune? Thanks!
