was just that the fabric wouldn't stretch into it very well... the glue would grab very easily around the corner + then it was hard to stretch enough fabric into the corner to get it to stick (see photos in that thread I linked to above)... my advice is to go slowly in that part... stick just the corners one at a time rather than a full width of spray (I did 12" long widths at a time)...

fwiw, I haven't noticed that it's let go there at all... it's just that I had trouble getting it to grab from the get go...

I wirebrushed + sanded the foam down... I had a pretty clean surface to start with... actually, on the 2nd one, I had to rebuild the headliner with fibreglass - it had broken in 5 or 6 spots... both cars are holding up well (even with abuse from small children) + it looks so much better imho... worthwhile project...
