It might have something to do with "right-hand" parts close to terra firma vs. left hand parts. The Winter salt crud adheres and eats more metal on the right side of autos in the North. My grey '88 SPG has significant rust on the right side while the left is relatively pristine. I don't think AAP is any worse than others given the supply problem. I ordered two MCs that didn't match the photos/descriptions from AAP and NAPA; and would'nt fit into the space by the firewall. Finally, O'Reilly had a nice unit that DID fit the description/photo online that was manufactured by Lockheed but under a different brand; and cheap. So, you never know. Posts in this Thread:
