92T conv 143k, steering started acting like something was siezing up,
odd metal noise when turning, turns out the column joint under the dash was dried out, and the clock spring had failed, my last mile or so to the garage the horn started blowing, I think a guy sitting at a stop sign figured I was giving him the finger! Mechanic is looking for a new spring, hope it`s still available. The joint seems to be working fine, but mechanic doesn`t want to put things(dash) back together till we are sure of it.
