C900 Bulletin Board 1979-1993 & 94 Conv | |
Ha!!! Thanks guys, it's great to hear that there are others with the same challenges. Good news though! My sister is coming out tomorrow to buy one of my 3 matching '90 talle red SPGs. I needed to do a lot of work on it before she gets it. Took out the 140mph speedo, momo steering wheel, accessory gauges, wood dash, Saab trash can, Saab trailer hitch, Super aeros, clear corners, mesh grille, whaletail, Saab roof rack, working cruise computer, tuned red box, and a bunch of other goodies that I didn't want her to snag like she did when I went to college and she raided my room. Anyway, the good news is that my wife offered to help! We spent the evening together that would have otherwise been our date night if I weren't so backed up with repairs. She helped me take off both doors to replace with matching rust-free ones, and helped take out the whole dash to get my speedo. Couldn't have asked for more. Maybe there is hope yet... but I don't want to jinx myself.
