I'm changing the car to T5.5 so the LH2.4 speedo is one way to get the signal to run the new ECU. I could just swap in the speedo to the 87 instrument cluster, but when I rotated the rheostat for the HVAC panel lights, they flashed ( along with the sole light on the instrument cluster ) and then went dead. So, I have zero lights on the cluster or the center dash panel now....... The thought was to transplant not only the speedo, but the cluster to get the lights back, but it sounds like I would be going backwards to try to adapt the LH2.4 cluster to the LH2.2 -- no, the upshift light is not a concern..... I suppose both the rheostats gave up, in which case both will have to be replaced anyway. Posts in this Thread:
