I understand where you are. Wifey has a Merc GLK, I drive a '01 Z3 3.0 Roadster after our the last Saab was sold in 2011. Saabless for the indefinite future & I would happily sell the Z3 to have a C900 convertible but Noooo,she sez. If S.O. not happy nobody is happy. So now half is happy.
