Popped weld on door hinge

The lower hinge on the driver side door has popped on my '95 900S.
I need to have it welded back in place. Is it necessary to disconnect all electronics, mainly ECU, in order to weld on the car or will disconnecting the battery be precaution enough?
Any help would be appreciated.
