Had thrown a whale tail on my SPG this year and the hatch shocks/struts wanted no part of that! I'd read over the years that even certain new ones would disappoint. I saw these on the auction site, and for about a twenty dollar bill, shipped, I pulled the trigger and bought them. They came in the mail today. Threw 'em right on. Open the gate....and she goes up with authority! Very impressed! Not my auction, not affiliated in any way with, just bought my struts here..and they work. Just thought I'd throw this out there for anybody else that's sick of holding their gate up with their head while they unload groceries.....bay of e. item number:291906535181 Cheers, Bob
