Have always rotated the crank/flywheel counterclockwise with a screwdriver. Never any other way and always with the tensioner installed. Finally timed the engine tonite and it was off consierably.
Was shocked how off I was but idle smoothed out and no miss or lumpiness as landjet likes to say.
I will drive tomorrow and see if knock is gone and if Boost is back
I guess my real issue is that there are two theories on cam cap versus cam sprocket marks.
Is Townsend right or wrong?
