Glad to hear that you got a replacement quickly.
The better way would have been to cut off the oil line sleeves with a Dremel and clamp the new hoses onto the old fittings instead of trying to loosen them. As you experienced, the threads on the tube nuts tend to weld themselves onto the threaded nipples and the nipples twist off.
I've used the method that Anders states with good success a few times. I got a cordless Dremel for the first set of new hoses.
