At least, they do on every 900 car I've ever had, and it makes sense that they would according to the wiring diagram.
Some cars had both fans wired to come on together with the temp switch, but some cars only have the right fan come on. I think the wiring them together was a service bulletin for overheating or something. involved a diode maybe?
