I did order a new line and it was definitely needed. The old line was good at either end, including the flexible portion, but had rusted out in the center.
what is the magic trick for installing the new line at the slave cylinder end?
I can remove the old one by cutting the line and using a socket to remove the stub, but there doesn't appear to be any way to get a flare wrench on to tighten the new one because of the angle.
My only thought is to heat the flare wrench and bend the correct end 90 degrees sideways like an L and then use vise grips to turn the other end. Or is there a better way?
