This is my wife's 1992 900T convertible. I was on the entrance ramp to the expressway this morning and I couldn't get above about 40 mph (scary!). I pulled over on to the shoulder and it died completely. It would start up again and idle fine but when I applied the throttle and then release it, it just stalled out. I could crawl forward at low speeds but couldn't get going properly.

My wife had mentioned it missing a little bit so I changed the plugs and also replaced the positive battery cable which had some corrosion. So I'm guessing these weren't the problem. Does it sound like an electrical issue? Any way to troubleshoot other than throwing parts at it?
