C900 turbo exhaust manifolds tend to warp, crack, or break studs causing leaks which allow air to enter upstream of oxygen sensor. Sensor sees a lean condition which tells fuel injection ECU to add more fuel. Early Garrett T3 turbochargers without water cooling tend to crack their cast iron exhaust scroll housings resulting in leaks.
