What exactly did you do? The harness from eeuroparts does not have AC functionality... Did you make a harness yourself, or did you just run the AC without a connection to the fuel injection system? A clamping diode in this application keeps the charge which operates the compressor's clutch from traveling backwards through the system when the clutch disengages. Without a diode, that charge could definitely fry something upstream. It's interesting the target would be the alternator, but certainly possible. You can google "ac clutch diode" to get information... since compressors are pretty generic, so are clutch diodes. You can buy one from most auto parts stores. But, I am skeptical that's the problem... it would be helpful to know how you wired things up right now, what you did with the connections to the Jetronic ECM lacking the eeuroparts harness.
