partsforsaabs is the place that has the soft tonneau. It only covers the closed top in the same way that the hard tonneau does. They have pics there.
I have an original SAAB one. I believe the ones PFS has are the same.
To install it, you have to drill holes in the drip channel of the trunk and the front seat shoulder strap housings and screw in some snaps. You also have to install sticky-back velcro in a couple areas. The cover looks nice when it's on, but I didn't like seeing the snaps and the velcro strips (which got all gummy and full of lint) when it wasn't on. Also, snapping the rear of the cover onto the snaps in the drip channel was a royal pain.
I've thought of modifying the one I have to be able to use it on a car without all the negatives I've mentioned. I'm sure that if I stitched in some 1/2" cord along the rear edge that I would not have to snap it to anything. Closing the trunk lid above the cording would keep it in place. I think you could also avoid putting snaps on the shoulder strap housings if you just has an elastic strap with a hook sewn on that could hook into the shoulder strap opening somehow.
