Took the SPG to the Saab 'dealer' they said the internal selector shaft was frozen and they got it loose and lubed..and all ok....well no.....
It worked for about a half hour and was very, very difficult to engage 5th and then just would not go into 5th at all, just as before...
Any ideas ???
The coupling is ok and the shifter assembly is 'tight'. I did the adjustment prior to this and maybe I need to do it again? (I would have thought that the dealer would have redone that after freeing the shaft)
