I agree with blacksheep and notnoel, but a couple of things/caveats...
1) are you located in the snowbelt? If yes, finding a rust free southern car is great, but if you drive it in winter and you don't get it oil sprayed regularly, you are asking for it to rot away. If you do oil spray it, it is kind of messy to work on (though I would probably do so occasionally even in a more moderate climate), but even so, if you drive it in salt, it will still rot away, just much more slowly! I don't think driving them in salt is a great way to use these cars nowadays (unless they are already past the point of being restore-able as nice cars). I have a summer c900 that is garaged at the moment to keep it out of the salt. The winter one is kaput this year unfortunately so we are driving 9-5's.
2) you say you are not handy/don't work on cars, but are you interested in this? I think it's a pretty important aspect of owning one now, because to do the kind of stuff notnoel or blacksheep have done to keep their cars nice is usually really expensive if you go to a tech for everything.
3) I see from your list of previously owned / currently owned saabs that you have not owned a c900. They are quite different than all the other ones on your list, and so there is a fork in a sense here... has it been a dream of yours to own/drive one? if yes, do it now while you still can! otoh, recognize that it is a little different than the more modern saabs. I personally like the c900 better, but it is different, especially now that they are about 30 years old!
The cars can function as great daily drivers if you maintain them. I actually don't think they would be any more costly to maintain than a Viggen, and in most cases parts will be as accessible and possibly cheaper. Expect to be replacing cooling system hoses, brake lines, etc if they have not been dealt with prior. Brake lines that leak without discovery inside the car often cause massive floor rot. Pull the carpets to check even in a southern car (drivers side).
Tires are more limited in choice for 15", certainly if you want performance oriented tires, there's not much now that every corrolla and civic seemingly has 17" or bigger wheels nowadays. However, I was able to get nice 16" tires to put on super aeros. There are other 16" rims, and not going too wide or big on the tire avoids the rubbing/axle relocation discussion. 15" and even 16" tires are inexpensive compared to 17" tires for a viggen, and there is a lot less risk of funny suspension induced tire wear also.
All in all, a well sorted c900 is a solid car that will put a giant grin on your face!
