Replacing 1990 Seatbelt Receiver Posted by jmotavalli [Email] (#2308) [Profile/Gallery] (more from jmotavalli) on Mon, 19 Feb 2018 13:25:44 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
My car is a 1990 C900 turbo convertible, with manual transmission. My driver's side seatbelt receiver stopped clicking. These are one-year-only parts, and very hard to find, but I located a good replacement. My problem is getting to the bolt to replace the receiver. I removed the rear ashtray, took out the two torq bolts back there, removed the manual gearbox leather boot and the two screws there, then the fifth bolt next to the ignition switch. But I could only lift the console a bit, and still could not get to the bolt. I'm almost there, but not quite. Can someone tell me how to get to that bolt? My car also has an electric hookup for the seatbelt light.
