Backsheep…..wonderful perspective! My primary objective is to achieve a firmer ride, but not compromise comfort. Vast majority of driving is suburban Chicago roads, which are not kind to older cars and suspensions. I don't believe I want a SPG suspension feel(but haven't driven one in 20 years, just a nice firmer upgrade in the front as I feel it could be tighten up. I have a tendency to obsess about a new goal(firmer front shocks) and not objectively put weight in the overall decision. I really don't want to compromise a comfort ride and be concerned about a harsh ride on most of these roads, especially on colder months for a gratifying feeling of firm ride that I utilize 10% in a curved ramp or more aggressive attack on a right hand turn. I enjoy the hunt for the right combination....yet don't want to break the wallet and end up with a harsh ride. I may just explore a firmer shock(maybe Biltstein B6s?) and new bushings...….
