Smart money says replace it all. If it is indeed original then every part of the system is 25 years old. This was just the first manifestation of weakness. By replacing only the slave, pressure now bears on the next weak spot, usually the master cylinder seals. After both cylinders have been restored to proper pressure it is not uncommon for the clutch hose to start leaking. And so it goes.
As the driver/owner/project manager of a '93 CE(currently at 222K) I'm in a similar position. I'm personally a proponent of whole system replacement, where possible. Given the age of the car, unless I know better, once a component of a system goes bad it make the whole system suspect.
As I don't do my own work I can't speak to the current state of parts availability or quality.
