Wow - great run down. It seems like such a small thing, but that sound is so loud and annoying, and although the car is starting to show its miles (101K) and years (5), I want to keep it as fully operational as possible. I need to go into Saab Dealer for some other work soon, so will find out what a new part costs and post it when I do. Thanks again for the meticulous detail.
